HARMAN IN WEST END ROLE EASTENDERS hunk Nigel Harman will replace Ewan McGregor in the hit West End musical Guys and Dolls, a month after leaving the soap. Harman films his final scenes as Dirty Den's son Dennis Rickman in November. The actor, 32, joins Coronation Street star Sarah Lancashire, already announced as new nightclub hostess Miss Adelaide. Harman appears at the Piccadilly Theatre from December 5. Meanwhile former Wonder Woman star Lynda Carter makes her West End debut in the cast of hit musical Chicago. She has signed up as jailer Mama Morton, played by Queen Latifah in the film, for an eight-week season. Carter, 54, a former Miss World USA who appears in The Dukes of Hazzard film, will join the cast at the Adelphi Theatre on September 26. I'm going to see him

I've never seen Guys and Dolls but the book by Damon Runyon is mediocre at best. I found it rather dull and directionless if I'm honest.
It has a cult appeal and there are most likely things in it that some people can spot and appreciate and others just don't, a la Tarantino.

No, it was very pointless I think. I got to the end and felt I had learned absolutely nothing. Most stories teach you something, make you laugh, cry or whatever but this didn't affect me at all.

Yeah it was just dumb, and a waste of time. Lucy will claim to like it purely cause Nigel is in it

He's not a very good actor in EE, maybe he'll be better on Stage

I don't see anything wrong with Nigel's acting in EE. He may have been a bit shaky to begin with, but he's great now IMO.
