It's not exactly spam, but there is someone in my organisation at work with the same name, and obviously a very similar e-mail address to me. Problem is when you click on my name in out departmental e-mail directoty, it comes up with my name and Nottingham. The other guy is based in Leeds. I quite often get mail for him most days, but i've had 3 e-mails for him in the space of an hour so far this afternoon, and it's starting to annoy me now. RAGE

Yeah, he gets a few of mine if people are not careful to check which one of us they select from the directory, but i'm mostly getting his at the moment again.

It’s still one to many though. As I say when you click on me, it comes up with my name and office details, the same as it does with him. His contacts know he’s in Leeds (especially when they are in the same office as him) not Nottingham, so it should jump out that something is wrong when Nottingham comes up when they select the wrong name. It's only been the past week or so that it's got quite bad again, but it's just a little annoying at times as i'm sure you can imagine. I mean i've been caught out myself before sending a 'slightly' embarrasing e-mail when i clicked on the wrong distribution list, so i always double check before i send anything now.
